I don't understand how it is that on my days off, all I want to do is be productive but one thing or another changes my mental course to make productivity seem like the worst thing ever. I blame Sonic the Hedgehog.
I think I'm going to attempt to beat the trend today. I've been needing to get the first two issues of my zine typed into my computer for conversion to .pdf files. After I shower and get around, I'm going to make this happen. Sonic--I will not let you stop me this time.
In other news, I got a letter in the mail from my youngest sister in Indiana the other day. Stuff like that just brings a smile to my face in a way that nothing else can.
|See? My sister is a better artist than you. Deal with it.|
Among my other plans of productivity lie writing this little lady back, getting soap (yeah, I need to shower. But Dean needs it a bit more, I think), and researching ideas for a birthday/mother's day present I am working on for my mom. I'm pretty sure she reads this though, so I'm not dropping any hints just yet.
In the spirit of productivity, I should probably wrap this post up and make something of myself.
This will likely be my last post of the weekend as I am off work at two tomorrow and Dean and I are planning on going to Dublin Pub down the street promptly at the hour of three. It's my first time going out for St. Paddy's day! Anyone else have any exciting plans?
Happy weekend and be safe!
